Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Land Development Field Manager to join our team and oversee our land development projects from start to finish.Expectations: 4-5 days on-siteExperience: 5+ years land development experience in AtlantaRegion covered: Atlanta metro and surrounding areasBase salary: $90k-$110kJob Summary:The Land Development Field Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of land development for our residential projects in Atlanta and surrounding areas. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of development projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all field operations related to land development, including grading, utilities installation, road construction, and landscapingManage and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and local regulationsConduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standardsCollaborate with internal teams, including planning, engineering, and construction, to ensure seamless project executionManage project schedules and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential delays or cost overrunsCoordinate with local authorities for inspections, permits, and approvalsEnsure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulationsPrepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change ordersParticipate in pre-construction meetings and ongoing project meetings with internal and external stakeholdersIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in land development, preferably in residential constructionStrong knowledge of land development processes, construction methods, and local building codes in Atlanta and GeorgiaProficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documentsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with diverse teamsProficiency in MS Office and project management softwareValid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites in the Atlanta area
