Position Overview The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for activities in the Welcome Center and/or Customer Service Office and is the primary point of contact for all incoming and outgoing drivers. The Clerk completes paperwork, maintains schedules, and ensures all paperwork is complete and error-free. The Clerk also provides information both internally and externally as needed.This position will be sitting in our Guard Shack areaPay Range: $20.00-$21.00/hrShift: 3rd shift; Sunday - Thursday; 1:00 AM - 9:30 AMPosition ResponsibilitiesSign driver in and out of the facility; verify all paperworkAssign dock doors to the inbound and outbound loadsMaintain door accuracy and yard report for trailer inventoryProcess Bills of Lading and associated shipping and receiving documents.Reconcile inbounds with packing slips and coordinate drop lot activityCoordinate moves on the yard for the spotter/yard jockeyProvide a strong level of customer service to internal and external customersMaintain Inbound and Outbound SchedulesWork closely with shift management and leads to accomplishing shift goals.Report errors and/ or issues to the appropriate member of leadership to ensure accuracyParticipate in all training programs providedPerforms all duties in a safe and timely mannerJob Qualifications High School Diploma/GED equivalent required.PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Previous AS400 and/or warehouse management systems (WMS) experience preferredBasic math and reading skills necessaryDetailed-oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-moving environmentAbility to follow oral and/or written instructionGood interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.Previous Shipping and Receiving experience in a warehouse environment preferredPersonal QualitiesStrong interpersonal skills, both verbal and writtenPositive approach in all interactionsTeam-orientated and self-motivatedAbility to multi-task calmly and effectively in a rapidly changing environmentSolid organization skillsWillingness to learn new systems as neededPay, Benefits and More:Competitive compensation package Full health insurance (medical, dental, and vision), 401(k), Life insurance, tuition assistance, PTO, and MORE! Growing company with a performance record that continues to climb! Open-door work environment High Performance culture with a focus on a growth mindset where continuous improvement is embraced Opportunities for advancement! CJ Logistics About Statement:CJ Logistics delivers integrated and multimodal logistics services, connecting every corner of the world via air, sea, and land.
