They are seeking a like-minded individual who shares these values to join their team as a Director of Operations for the Houston, TX region.About the PositionThe Operations Manager position will oversee site-management security operations in their assigned region. Key responsibilities will encompass client relations, employee engagement, account and employee performance management, community outreach, employee development, and meeting financial and performance objectives. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in managing Armed and Unarmed Security Operations across multiple managed sites. In addition, they should be a strong people leader who enjoys working with their team at the ground levelTypeFull-time, exempt position.Location100% on-site, reporting to HQ office in Houston, TX TravelLocal site management visits in the Houston, TX region.Pay$85K - $95K, discretionary bonus based on KPIs, and $5K car allowance.BenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision, 401(k) match, Insurance (Accident, Life, STD, LTD), PTO, Vacation, and others.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary liaison for clients and manage vendor relations.Develop, challenge, and motivate site-level teams to achieve optimum results and to meet contract deliverables.Manage financial performance of the assigned region by preparing, analyzing, and reconciling payroll/billing systems reports, accounts receivables, and operational reports.Determine trends and areas for improvement by communicating results and implementing the necessary measures to address deficiencies and ensure profitability.Manage overtime and direct labor to ensure results are acceptable to the company, control unbudgeted costs including avoidable losses, and maintain maximum account retention. Maximize employee retention by ensuring open communications, prompt responses to concerns, proper training and support of site leaders and officers, providing appropriate mentorship and guidance, ensuring opportunities for advancement, and maintaining a culture of mutual respect. Ensure employees at all levels are trained in company Standards, contract requirements, and licensing authority requirements, and maintain or renew active security-related licenses. Address disciplinary problems per company policy and procedures. Must work with HR to provide prompt notification of complaints of discrimination, sexual harassment, or unfair labor practices. Oversee the proper creation and management of orders, documents, and equipment used at job sites.Submit weekly reports, ensure payroll is completed on time, and assist with business development when possible.Conduct weekly face-to-face meetings and site visits with clients and employees at planned intervals. Implement the quality assurance program for the assigned region, including the effective utilization and management of the company's enhanced operations engagement initiatives. Ensure adherence with the company's safety program and goals within their region/portfolio Establish professional relationships with local law enforcement where their job sites are located. Stay abreast of industry trends, provide value-added services as qualified to clients, and assist with brand awareness.Qualifications:5+ years of Multi-Site Contract Security Operations Management experience is required.On-call availability (evenings and weekends) for emergencies.Exceptional team leadership experience and customer service skills.Must have a reliable vehicleHireCapital and our clients are equal opportunity employers.
