Job Title: Administrative Construction Manager - OSPJob Overview: Join our dynamic team as an Administrative Construction Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing Outside Plant (OSP) construction activities for contractors. You'll ensure that all projects meet or exceed quality standards, stay on budget, and adhere to design specifications. Your strong communication skills will be key as you coordinate with local municipalities, utilities, and various departments to drive project success.LocationRochester, NYDuration1 year contractPay$41.32- $45.75/hourKey Responsibilities:Oversee OSP construction activities and ensure compliance with all regulations.Familiarity with permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).Schedule projects to meet timelines and conduct thorough pre and post inspections.Manage materials and maintain accurate records, including as-builts.Utilize the JIM process for project management as needed.Ensure accurate reporting for invoicing and timesheets.Monitor project expenditures to ensure budget compliance.Investigate and report on plant damage.Attend pre-construction meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of OSP Construction Standards and Practices, Unit Descriptions, and SSP contracts.Expertise in State, Local, and Company safety standards.Minimum of 5 years of combined OSP construction and splicing experience.Willingness to work overtime and be on-call for nights and weekends as necessary.Occasional overnight travel may be required.Valid driver's license is a must.Why Join Us?
