We have accomplished this through our incredible team of employees who are customer focused, motivated, achievers, developers, and purpose driven.SummaryThe Brand Manager is responsible for management of the business activities for the brand and has total responsibility to manage budget and P&L to meet company objectives for Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Planning process. This role develops long and short-term strategies, marketing plans, innovation/new products that will achieve company/brand profit, volume, and share objectives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the marketing objectives, strategies, long range and annual plans for assigned categories reflecting overall corporate goals.Manage budget, pricing, and trade spend strategy for assigned brand responsibilities.Monitor performance measurements to ensure sales volume, share, and profit objectives are accomplished - recommends and implements corrective actions. Develop and/or meaningful consumer positioning for assigned brands that create added value versus competition and effectively communicate brand story and benefits to consumersDevelop brand strategies that create consumer, customer, shopper engagement and net household penetration increaseLead innovation strategy and develop 5-year innovation plan. Consistent with strategy, manage the development and introduction of new products in partnership with R &D and key stakeholders leading to a full line of differentiated products, each meeting target consumer needs and offering the highest competitive value.Accountable to develop and lead the long-term success to achieve specific business goals and directly connect to consumer needs and competitive environments. Via brand matrix team structure, act as brand leader with all other functions to ensure business initiatives receive necessary focus.Support Director, Brand Management on development of 5-year strategic plan.Work directly with the Integrated Marketing Communications Team to ensure brand communication to consumers and shoppers is delivered on strategy and maximizes ROI. Work together with the sales organization and category leadership to ensure corporate objectives are met and that our strategies and programs are effectively implemented at the account level. QualificationsMinimum of 3 years CPG brand management experience; Food and/or Snack Category experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field required. An MBA or equivalent master's degree is preferred.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of marketing and finance.Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking with a consumer & shopper lens is required.Proven track record in managing and meeting volume and profit targets through creative marketing of existing lines. Strong analytical skills a must; Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong project management skills. Local and/or overnight travel is required 40% of the time.
