Vice President for Growth and Marketing - Hailstone CommunicationsHailstone is the leading public relations and communications agency for social good. We're passionately driven by a mission to support our clients in sectors including clean energy, climate, electoral campaigns, healthcare, education, labor and more. We are seeking a Vice President for Growth and Marketing who can supercharge our expansion and lead our efforts to vastly increase our impact and support of clients. The ideal candidate would be an extremely driven, gregarious go-getter who is: a fantastic people person; self-motivated; believes deeply in our clients' causes; has a positive, can-do, solutions-oriented attitude; is a great marketer and writer; and has a proven track record of developing new client relationships. This job is remote and can be done from any location, but candidates must be willing to travel once every 1-2 months and have flexibility for evening and weekend work when needed. There is a base salary and then an additional, generous commission structure for bringing in new clients. If you want to work in a fast-paced, progressive advocacy PR firm with tremendous opportunity for growth--literally fighting to save the world--this is the job for you.Job dutiesRelentlessly reaching out to prospective clients (email, direct messaging, mail and calls) to set up phone calls and meetings, leading to an average of one new client per month.Attending conferences to make in-person connections with prospective clients, represent Hailstone and distribute our marketing materials. Spearheading Hailstone's marketing efforts including our social media accounts, email newsletters, award applications, SEO and advertising.Supporting the current client work which includes press outreach, social media, advertising, emails, text messages, mail, video production and event planning.QualificationsExtremely driven, self-motivated, supercharged go-getter attitude.Very extraverted, outgoing and gregarious.Superb interpersonal skills.Positive, can-do, solutions-oriented attitude and powerful work ethic.Creativity, resilience, critical thinking and perseverance in spades.At least 5 years experience in business development and marketing.Proven track record of acquiring new clients.Deep commitment and belief in the causes we work toward and the clients we serve.Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.At least 3 glowing references from former employers or clients.BA required, Master's preferred.Attention to detail.We're an equal opportunity employer committed to social justice--women, people of color and LGBTQ+ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.Compensation includesCompetitive salary with additional generous commission fee structure and bonuses.2 weeks paid time off to start, as well as major holidays.Support with continuing education.
