POSITION: CONTROLLERINDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING (REQUIRED)LOCATION: MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OHWe are seeking Controller for a well-established manufacturing company located in Mayfield Heights. This person will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning, ensuring the organization's fiscal health. This is a hybrid role of in-office and remote work.Essential Functions:Operational Planning: Develop and manage plans for profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgets, accounts receivable, cost standards, savings opportunities, and capital investments. Implement necessary controls and procedures.Performance Monitoring: Compare performance with plans and standards. Prepare reports and interpret results for management, including accounting policies, financial statements, operating data, and special reports.Cash Flow Management: Forecast cash requirements and obligations to maintain adequate funds.Credit and Collections: Supervise the Credit and Collection department.Accounts Payable: Oversee the Accounts Payable function.Inventory Monitoring: Monitor inventory levels and advise management on budget variances.Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting responsibilities.Debt Compliance Reporting: Compile and report debt compliance information to banks.Additional Responsibilities: Undertake special activities and responsibilities as required.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably with management oversight.Skills: Proficiency in accounting systems, financial analysis, administration, management, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
