Spherion is recruiting for an HR Benefits Administrator with our hiring partner in Vergennes, VT! You will be working within an educational setting and responsible for the effective administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefit offerings. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can manage complex benefit plans, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide exceptional service to employees. A generous benefits package is offered alongside a competitive compensation based upon education and experience.Responsibilities:-Responsible for onboarding new employees, and providing all pertinent information to Business Office personnel for proper processing of benefits deductions, payroll contracts, and Ready Sub system setup.-Serve as primary contact for all employee benefit programs.-Organize and conduct employee benefit meetings as necessary.-Keep abreast and ensure compliance of relevant ANWSD policies and procedures, employee handbooks and master agreements.-Administers the organization's Health, Dental, Vision, Life Long-Term Disability (LTD), Section 125, HRA, HSA, and Voluntary Retirement programs.-Manage the Open Enrollment process each year for all employee benefits.-Maintain all COBRA information and disseminate, as required.-Administer Workers Compensation and Unemployment Claims.-Administer employee leaves and accommodations including FMLA, ADA, and VTPFL.-Process claims payments for HRA, and contributions to HSAs through third party vendors.-Responsible for EEOC, OEWS, CMS and ACA reporting.-Communicate regularly with insurance carriers, government agencies, and others outside the organization regarding employee and benefits matters.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMSkills:Human Resource Certification Recommended.Education:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Management or other appropriate discipline plus three years of relevant experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.Apply with Spherion today for immediate consideration!
