Welcome to Bosch Rexroth.Job DescriptionOur Electronic Repair Technician's work in a fast paced technical service environment and work independently with safety in mind. The Technician will perform electronic repairs (board level repair), evaluations, updates, and conversions in a timely and efficient manner. Fully function test each unit repaired, run under load when applicable, order necessary components and properly document work orders. The objective is to maintain a short turnaround time, high quality standards and decrease customer downtime.Follow inspection, evaluation and testing procedures to ensure the repaired products meet factory specifications. Observe electrical products handling safety codes and regulationsTroubleshoot, repair and/or convert servo drives and industrial controls as needed to support business growthProvide feedback to the factory of product performance data collected through service and repairs for use in future product designsAssist with product failure analysis and offer preventive maintenance to customersWork with high voltage including voltages up to 480 VAC 3 phase and 1,000 VDCWork with high amperages up to 250 ampsPrepare technical repair reportsUpdate product in stock per quality requestsWear safety glasses and safety shoesWork occasional overtime and weekendsLift up to 50lbs on a regular basisPerform other related duties as assignedQualificationsBASIC REQUIREMENTS:Must have a minimum of a High School DiplomaPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Completion of an Electrical/Electronic Technologist or Industrial Electrician diploma is an assetComputer literacy with common computer applications. servo application software experience a plusAptitude in machine functionalityFamiliar with the automation market and industrial customer needsProfessional attitude with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skillsMotivated self-starter with the ability to work independentlyCommitted to success of the company and the customerMust have a minimum of 1+ years of soldering experienceMust have at least 3+ years of Electronic Repair Technician experienceMust have at least 1+ years of experience reading electronic schematics and using testing / measuring equipmentAdditional InformationBOSCH is a proud supporter of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) InitiativesFIRST Robotics (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology)AWIM (A World In Motion)By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected, Veteran/Disabled.
