• This requisition is for Jump Start Program applicants onlyFor complete information on the Jump Start program, visit JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.SAir Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech IIJT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and air crews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challengesThis job announcement encompasses multiple openings in a variety of electronics disciplines: • Beacons, Digital Electronics, Ground and Auto-tracking radar systems, GPS, IFF, Mechanical, Microwave, Measurements, TCP/IP, Telemetry, Communications, and Video• Individuals will work on various types of electronic equipment and related devices by performing a combination of the following: installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing and testing• Equipment may include, but is not limited to, the following: transmitting and receiving equipment, digital and analog computers, industrial measuring and controlling equipment, microwave amplifiers and transmission lines, high voltage power supplies and keying circuits, indicators and displays, antenna positioning systems, Ethernet interface equipment, digital-to-analog conversion equipment and analog strip chart recorders• Work requires practical application of electronic principles, ability to determine equipment malfunctions, and skills to put equipment in required operating conditions• The daily accomplishment of electronic logbook entries, problem reporting and documentation of corrective actions are requiredWORKING CONDITIONSWork hours and shifts may vary and require occasional overnights or weekend work at remote locationsOccasionally perform assigned tasks indoors/outdoors in a field environment involving low light and moderate noiseMay occasionally climb towers and ladders or perform work in confined spacesLift up to 50 poundsMINIMUM TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS • Completion of Jump Start core classes (Math 111B, ET 131B DC for Electronics lab, ET 132B AC for Electronics lab, ET 212B Digital Logic I, ET 220B; Solid State Devices and Circuits I, and ET 228B: Data Acquisition) with a 3.0 GPA or higher• Possess a good understanding of electronics and the test equipment used to maintain and repair various electronics equipment• Other Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to qualify for and maintain a DoD Top Secret/SSBI security clearance and be adjudicated to the tier process for access to specific programsPossess a valid State issued driver's licenseDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to troubleshoot to the component level and make needed repairs • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, and Word) • Working knowledge of tubes, transistors, logic gates and high-power R.Fsources • Active Secret/Top Secret Security Clearance OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESEach employee must read, understand, and implement the general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements of all plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to their jobWORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazardsOccasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting and use of a computer terminal; constant use of sight abilities while writing, reviewing, and editing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication; and constant mental alertness are requiredDISCLAIMER The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by personnel assigned to this classificationThey are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of persons so classifiedTasking is in support of a federal government contract that requires U.ScitizenshipSome jobs may require a candidate to be eligible for a government security clearance, state-issued driver's license or other licenses/certifications, and the inability to obtain and maintain the required clearance, license or certification may affect an employee's ability to maintain employmentSCC: JOM68; JELT4; JCORP12 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
