Technical Writer - AdTechW2 contract, onsite 3 days out of Mountain View, CA officesOur client is looking for a Technical Writer to add to their team. This candidate should be able to independently synthesize reference materials (such as emails, prds, recordings) to create content. After creating reference documentation, they should be able to create overarching overview materials to explain the context of the collection of reference documentation. They will be responsible for the creation of reference materials including the background and context information.Experience with:Topic based writing for internal and external audiences in the Ads platform domain Data Management and Business Intelligence toolsCreating operational documentationDocumenting databases concepts, especially data models, BI principles, views, datasets, reporting and analyticsCreate more than procedural documentationManage own portfolio of workMange Jira documentation ticketsProactively work with Product Managers and SMEsUnblock anything in the way of delivery datesSolicit feedback on documentation and make the suggested changes and not take feedback personallyWork independently to fill in gaps when SMEs are unavailableCommitment to high quality workConfidence work independentlyQUALIFICATIONS4+ years of technical writing or related experience and be able to share writing samplesExperience in AdTechExcellent English written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums; other languages are an assetExperience working cross-departmentally and track record of effective collaborationStrong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with evolving project requirements and prioritiesAppetite to learn with a positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challengesProven ability to develop comprehensive and accurate documentationProven ability to work independently, collaboratively, and lead multiple projects/tasks in a cross-disciplinary team.Flexibility to adjust to an evolving role and steady change within our fast-growing company.Embrace change and is comfortable with navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.Project management experience, accountable for delivery of their own work
