Job Description

We are recruiting for an Executive Director for a learning center near Yellowstone National Park. This learning center is a nonprofit organization and provides care for ages two months through five years. A significant benefit of this role is FREE housing that is walking distance to the learning center. The Executive Director is responsible for leading the center to success, overseeing all aspects of the organization such as operations, fiscal leadership, goal setting, recruitment and retention of staff, maintaining programs, board relations, public relations, public advocacy, and marketing. Salary: $65,000 - 80,000/year with FREE HousingResponsibilities: Provides fiscal leadership: Develop and oversee annual budgets, oversee all contracts for program funding, develop grant submissions, oversee fundraising, monitor all fiscal activity, provide financial reports to the Board of Directors, manage tuition program, and build and grow donor relationships. Develop goals for programs: short- and long-range goals for program growth and expansion, serve as a non-voting member of the Board of Directors.Recruitment and retention of staff: supervise all staff and volunteers, facilitate staff meetings, advocate for the staff with the Board of Directors, and ensure that employee policy is being met.Maintenance of programs: Communicate with the Board of Directors on program activities and assure terms and conditions of funding agency(ies) are met as applicable. Board Relations: Board and committee meeting preparation, attendance, and follow up; liaison between staff, families, and Board of Directors; implementing strategic business plan, assist with annual report, facilitate board involvement, and keep Board of Directors informed.Public Relations, Public Advocacy & Marketing: represent the organization at community meetings, events, and all environments; work with funders, organizations and other relevant groups to ensure childcare remains a focal point of support in our community; point of contact for media relations, create monthly informative newsletters for families, establish and manage marketing campaigns.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human services or related field 5 years relevant work experience in administration, program development, childcareEarly childhood education or training Quickbooks experience preferredBenefits: 4 weeks PTOFREE housing
