Manager of Individual GivingNew York, NYCompany Overview: A nonprofit organization with a strong commitment to a positive work-life balance, seeks an entrepreneurial self-starter who will see the potential of our abundant individual giving pipeline, proactively suggest and implement opportunities and ways to deepen our relationships with individual donors, grow our revenue over time, and help us make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $20,000. supports domestic, international and foster care adoptions and does not charge its applicants to apply.Position Overview:As the Manager of Individual Giving, you will be responsible for overseeing our annual giving campaigns and cultivating relationships with individual donors. Your strategic insights and analytical prowess will drive the success of our fundraising efforts, ensuring sustainable support for our mission. The ideal candidate will have an intuitive understanding of Microsoft Excel and Database systems, and excellent writing skills. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute annual giving campaigns, including direct response mailings and online campaigns, to engage individual donors and increase contributions.Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective donors -both en masse through direct marketing and through one-on-one engagement, as needed-, stewarding them through personalized communications and engagement opportunities.Analyze donor data and campaign results to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.Collaborate with the development team to integrate individual giving strategies with broader fundraising initiatives (e.g., through special events, with corporate partners, etc.)Utilize best practices and industry benchmarks to enhance the effectiveness of our individual giving programs.Track and report on fundraising performance, providing regular updates to leadership.Qualifications2-3 years of experience in an individual giving role within a mid-sized or large non-profit organization, with a focus on annual giving campaigns.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies and insights.Experience in tracking and reporting fundraising results, with a demonstrated ability to apply lessons learned to strengthen future campaigns.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships and engaging donors.Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and driving donor retention and acquisition.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.CompensationSalary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year.Status: Exempt Location: This can be a hybrid work situation, with a requirement that the professional in this role work out of the Manhattan-based office three days a week.Excellent benefit package including: · Health, Dental and Vision benefits, covered 50%· Vacation and Sick Leave· Commuter benefits· 401k program· HSA and FSA accounts· HealthAdvocate, One Medical, Teladoc · Supplemental life insurance· Short and long-term disability insurance· Discounted gym membershipsHow to ApplyIf you are passionate about fundraising and eager to make a difference in the non-profit sector, we encourage you to apply!
