Frank Darling is an online female-founded fine jewelry brand making custom engagement rings more accessible than ever before. We've been featured in Vogue, WSJ, Bloomberg, Glossy, and a number of other publications for our design, sustainability, and modern take on the bridal category.We have an immediate, opening for a social media content creator. The ideal candidate is highly creative and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills. S/he is a creative problem solver with a can-do attitude.Key Duties and Responsibilities:3+ years social media experience at a brand or agency with a portfolio of work showcasing still, short and long-form video work for social media.You know what's trending on social media before it blows up; and can respond ASAP to trends/memes in a variety of content types.You're proficient in industry-standard video and graphic design software - Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, and CapCut (Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, CaptureOne Pro is a plus)Experience in the full social content production lifecycle (ideation, storyboarding, design, videography, photography, etc.), professional camera systems, lighting, shooting, retouching, and color grading.Visually proficient creative with an understanding of graphic design, composition, and typography and an eye for details and elevated aesthetics.Self-initiated creative with exceptional time & project management skillsSolid interpersonal skills and passion for engaging with our social media communitiesYou're a highly organized person able to work with high-value items responsiblyKnowledge of the jewelry or gemology is a plus (but not a must)Responsibilities:The Social Media Content Creator will be an integral part of our Social Media and Content Team, reporting directly to our Director of Social Strategy & Content70%: Lead social media content creation primarily for Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. Create content franchises that engage, educate, entertain, and inspire, crafted to resonate with the Frank Darling community.Create content strongly informed by the knowledge of trends, cultural moments, and visual aesthetics.Inform ideas based on platform-specific trends, updates, and unique features20%: Write short-form copy for social posts and stories10%: Run day-to-day community management and postingContribute to the development of the always-on content calendar and social-first campaigns, reporting, and analytics against relevant KPIs.Role:20-40 hours a week on / off site at our studio in Tribeca The ideal person would be interested in transitioning to an on site role over time as the opportunity arises
