We are seeking a hard-working Business Development Manager who is passionate about growing business year over year. You will join a fast-paced environment and build high value relationships within ClearSpan.As a Business Development Manager, you will be reporting to the Business Development Team Manager and focus on increasing ClearSpan opportunities in the pre-engineered metal building industry. In this role, this person will build successful relationships with engineers, architects, general contractors, and contacts within the top one hundred companies withing specific verticals. Other responsibilities include attending tradeshows, joining associations, networking, and developing outbound call lists to top 100/200 prospects within your verticals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Identify and create opportunities within ClearSpan verticals. Build lasting business relationships with key industry influencers to generate new business leads that drive revenue.Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.Manage and attend industry tradeshows, meetings, and events to leverage opportunities for new leads. Help to create innovative marketing material to support industry vertical growth for your team.Become a subject matter expert on industry verticals and remain up to date on industry news and competitor landscape.Find gaps and improvement opportunities within specific product lines based on research and relationships with industry experts.Build vertical call lists to support lead growth with the use of best in practice third party vendors.Use HubSpot CRM as the source of truth for all activity, outreach, content, and analytics. Preferred experience in PEMB industryOther duties as assigned. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Order Processing Systems, Microsoft Office Suites; proficient with Excel, and the ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm. Experience using EPICOR a plus.
