Annual Giving CoordinatorCampusTitle: Annual Giving CoordinatorDate: August 2024FLSA StatusNon- Exempt, Full time, 12-month positionReports to: Vice President for Institutional AdvancementJob Summary: Under the general direction of the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Annual Giving Coordinator will advance Cottey's Mission and Goals by obtaining gift support for priority projects and programs of the College. This individual will work closely with the vice president for Institutional Advancement to identify, cultivate, and solicit support from constituencies. Requires occasional travel, weekend, and evening work.Duties and Responsibilities:· Manages several projects to promote undesignated support of the College: the Cottey Fund including two annual appeals, phonathon, Giving Tuesday online outreach, and VAC Giving Day.· Cultivate relationships with annual giving prospects through correspondence and phone calls.· Assist with athletics fundraising.· Ensure that matching gifts are confirmed and processed.· Create, manage, and update online gift forms through IA's software platform.Special Requirements:· Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of experience working in Advancement/Development for higher education or a nonprofit; may be substituted with similar experiences in another relevant work environment.· Strong analytical and organizational skills; sharp attention to detail.· Proficiency with database management systems, Jenzabar or Raiser's Edge experience preferred.· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.· Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and a high degree of accuracy in donor records.· Strong ability to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.Location - Campus
