Head of Product - New York, New York (preferred)IBT Media, a digital media company operating out of New York, New York, is hiring a Head of Product to join the organization's leadership team to support and contribute to the growth and development of its wide-ranging portfolio of digital media brands. Job Description:The Head of Product will drive the development and enhancement of the organization's digital products and digital platforms. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, SEO, audience development, and content, to deliver exceptional user experiences that drive audience and generate revenue for the company.Your strategic mindset and strong leadership and analytical skills will help shape product roadmaps, define feature requirements, and prioritize initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of prominent consumer media brands.Skills and Qualifications:3 or more years as Product Manager, Product Lead, Head of Product, Product Management Director, or a similar role for a digital media publisher or news organization.Experience creating successful products that serve a business and engage an audience.Engineering degree preferred.Editorial product and newsroom experience preferred. Passion to make information more useful and engaging.Good knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), User Experience (UX), Search Engine Optimization (SEO).Experience working directly with developers to reach product objectives, using Asana (or a similar product).Experience using data (Google Analytics or similar) to inform product decisions.Ability to find scalable solutions that serve the needs of millions of users.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Self-starter who can lead a project, collaborating with others as well as working independently.
