Adecco is looking for experienced metal grinders for a client site in Dublin Ohio. 1st shift open with great hours Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm pay starting at $18/hr Must have some grinding experience to be considered.A metal grinder, also known as a machine operator or grinder operator, uses grinding machines to shape metal parts and finish products to meet design specifications:Set up: Prepare the grinding machines for useSelect tools: Choose the right cutting tools to achieve the desired cutsGrind: Remove excess material to smooth and shape the metal partsInspect: Check the finished pieces for defects, sharp edges, and scratchesRemove: Take out defective piecesFollow: Obey blueprints, quality tolerance standards, company policies, and safety proceduresMetal grinders may also use machinery to create grooves or other contours on metal objects. They should be proficient with standard industry tools and machinery, such as small swing grinders and small hand grinders. Metal grinders typically work in an industrial setting and may be exposed to fumes, glare, and radiation. The job may also require standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and occasionally climbing, balancing, or crawling.
