EPIC experience is a MUSTMin of 1 year exp in AR insurance follow up / collectionsUnderstanding of denials - what they mean and how to overturnHow to utilize insurance portals - Availity, United Healthcare, Connex, etc.How to put together documentation for appealsCoding knowledge - CPC is a plusContacting payers and know how to disputeSomeone who is computer savvyPrefer someone with epic experienceStrong denial experienceStrong experience of appealsExperience with insurance portals (ex: United, blue cross, etc)Experience with commercial insurances as well as government insurances (MCOs, MLTCs, etc... think Healthfirst, metroPlus, Fidelis care,etc)Metrics - 40 accts/day. They will start with less around 15-20 and ramp up wen readyCritical thinker, problem solver, go getter mentalityEquipmentLaptop and Monitor provided Schedule:This job will be in person 5 days a week for the first 6 months but has the opportunity to WFH 3 days a week depending on performance.
