Per the client, No C2C's!Central Point Partners is currently interviewing candidates in the Columbus, Oh area for a large client.Because this is a Contract to Hire position only GC's and USC's.This position is Hybrid (2-3 Days remote/work from home)! Only candidates who are local to Columbus, Oh will be considered.On-Prem & SaaS Application Support ConsultantNotes from the hiring manager:My team is more focused on vendor on-prem and SAAS application support (incident tickets, releases, audit finding resolutions, along with flat file integrations where we do some ELT. The ELT could occur within the application tools and some SSIS. Additionally, we are branching out into integrating APIs to some of our Cloud SAAS apps. My team doesn't do a ton of development but it ebbs and flows, so having a development background does help.JOB DESCRIPTIONModifies existing software/application programs, which are typically more complex in nature, or writes new programs to support user and management needs. Designs, tests, debugs, documents, and implements those programs. Consults with users to design, modify, and explain program changes or to provide technical support. Resolves problems which occur in production systems. May serve as project leader in the development of automated systems or procedures. Provides training to other team members.Duties and Responsibilities:3+ years of experience with supporting On-Prem & SaaS applications utilizing SQL server databases. Must possess strong knowledge in Stored Procedures, SSIS, and writing and tuning of queriesVendor Application Support - Releases, Patches, and Incident SupportAPI (SOAP and REST) development and management for both On-Prem and to Cloud SaaS vendor applicationsKnowledge of different SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, etc.Demonstrate excellent communication skillsDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service and the ability to work well independently or in teamsSQL ServerWindows ServerExperience with the following enterprise patterns/technologies/toolsScheduling Tools and Code Management softwareProvides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems.Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and supportPerforms other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree3+ years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related work experience may be considered in lieu of the Bachelor's DegreePreferred Qualifications:Microsoft Office experienceExperience working in multi-platform environmentAbility to balance both development and support rolesExperience in working on projects that involve business segmentsStrong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills, focus on customer service, and the ability to work well with other IT, vendor, and business groupsFor more information about this opportunity, please contact Bill Hart at 614-352-3615 AND email your resume to bill.hart@!
