DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Training Instructor will have the primary responsibility of teaching the approved training curriculum (Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide) at our office in Suffern. When class is not in session this individual will conduct educational in-services for our Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aide as well as administer HHA/PCA competency evaluations.Training will be done in accordance with all regulations and company policies.Job DutiesProvide related instruction and supervise students. Proctor and grade tests. Document students' progress and complete required forms/reports in their entirety. Prepare and submit a course of study including program objectives, student performance objectives and lesson plans. Perform other duties related to this position requested by the director, program coordinator, and company management. Note: this posting is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Must have 2 years Registered Nurse (RN) experience in New York City. Must have 1 year of Home Care experience as a field Nurse. Must have excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bilingual (Preferred not required)Training will be provided at our Corporate Headquarters located in Brooklyn. Once training is completed, role will be at our Suffern office location.Salary commensurate with experience
