Every day our leaders grow, while our rosters are designed to help you live the lifestyle that is right for you and your family.Reporting to the Superintendent - Maintenance & Reliability, you are responsible for:Monitoring work practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure safety of employees. Complying with Rio Tinto and Statutory Safety requirementsManaging, supervising and allocating work to a team of trade employees in High and Medium voltage maintenance as well as shop related activities.Allocating technicians for coverage of scheduled and unscheduled breakdowns.Interfacing with planners and fellow Supervisors to assist in planning and scheduling of work.Providing leadership in team building, planning, and establishing clear measures that keep everyone focused on safety, results, and the customer.Ensuring work is completed in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement and soliciting inputs from team members.What you'll bringA commitment to the safety of yourself and your team3 + years of leadership experienceElectrical Trade Certification is mandatory.3+ years of electrical experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.SAP experience or similar ERP system.Must have or the ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).What we offerWe are committed to provide our employees what they deserve.
