Must-haves -10+ years experience focused with React, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS -- should be advanced level, understand things like threading and design patterns -Understanding of API design principals -Strong understanding of web application ecosystem and end to end architecture -- should be able to contribute to high level technical conversations around improvements, enhancements etc -Proven track record of producing tangible results to a project Plusses -Prior experience at a Fintech company -Prior experience building out low latency or high-performance web applications -Proficiency with additional technologies like TypeScript, Next.js, and Redux -Experience with CI/CD tools and processes -- should be able to step in if a there are any breakdowns Day-to-Day Insight Global is seeking a Lead React Engineer to join one of their top financial clients in New York City. This individual will be joining the Web Engineering team, focused on the continuous development and enhancements of the companies most trafficked website. We are seeking a strong hands-on developer with advanced proficiency in React and overall JavaScript frameworks who can provide expertise to coding, but also contribute to higher level advancements. This person will be expected to be proactive around new ideas that foster improved efficiency (ie: scaling, improving availability, rearchitecting an existing system, improving CI/CD techniques). This role is entirely front end focused, and we are seeking someone passionate and eager about technology enhancements. This person will be seen as a resident React SME.
