We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid remote position, offering the flexibility to work both from home and our Fresno office.Position Overview:As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive tax services to our clients. You will leverage your expertise in tax planning, compliance, and advisory to support our clients in the real estate and agriculture sectors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engagements efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, with a focus on clients in the real estate and agriculture industries.Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to address specific client needs and industry-related issues.Assist in the management of tax audits and correspondence with tax authorities.Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide guidance on tax-related matters.Mentor and supervise junior tax staff, providing training and support to enhance their professional development.Stay current with changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate implications to clients and internal teams.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.Participate in business development activities, including networking events and client presentations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
