LHH is seeking a skilled Private Equity Attorney for a fully remote contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in private equity transactions and a strong legal background. Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate complex private equity transaction documentsProvide legal advice and support throughout all stages of private equity investments, including due diligence, structuring, and closing.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to private equity transactions.Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal risks and resolve any legal issues that arise during transactions.Assist in the management of portfolio company legal matters, including governance, corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions and day to day operations. Requirements/Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the state in which you reside. Minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity or related practice at a law firmProven track record of handling complex private equity transactions and related legal issues.Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Please note: Candidates must reside and be barred in one of the following states to be considered. New, York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, South Carolina, North Carolina, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Delaware, DC, Texas, Tennessee, Florida or Texas. Pay Rate: $60-$80/hour dependent on experience
