Job Description Legal and General are looking to hire a Securities Master Oversight Lead to join the Data Operations function. This role is essential for managing the securities master function and ESG data services ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with third-party service providers. In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our securities and ESG data management, driving process improvements, and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and governance. Your expertise will be pivotal in evolving our product knowledge centre, acting as the first point of escalation for all business-as-usual (BAU) and change-related inquiries. What you'll be doing: Leading stakeholder management and issue resolution for the team while developing and maintaining productive relationships with all stakeholders Monitoring and managing offshore and outsourced teams using governance forums, KRI and KPI data, and other monitoring metrics Continuously improving metrics and enhancing their transparency Proactively socializing the function's performance with senior internal stakeholders Continuously reviewing, developing, and evolving the process and service model Implementing appropriate governance, reporting, and escalation of issues impacting customers to ensure key checkpoints are met Managing employees consistently, ensuring adherence to the Group's policies and procedures, including the Partnership Agreement Developing and designing automated, standardized global processes to ensure consistent services, support, and tools Qualifications Who we're looking for: Strong understanding of regulatory and market changes and their impact on securities master data Experience in relationship management with third-party service providers Expertise in process governance, risk management, and operational processing Experience in mentoring or training new staff, with the desire to develop into a people manager, particularly in a securities master or similar function Ability to drive cultural change and service management within the function Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Experience in developing and implementing automated, standardized processes Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
