Drivers are typically home daily and run local and regional routes. **Copper operations are outside in the elements and require a half-face respirator, and any other required PPE to be worn for specific tasks. In addition, having to wear a half-face respirator, also requires that you are clean-shaven daily.We operate 24/7/365. Work schedules vary, depending on business needs. Load assignments are given based on hours of service available. Dedicated tractors are assigned, trailers are shared and slip-seating is expected. Less experience will be considered on an individual basis and may require an extended training periodValid DOT Physical No more than 2 moving violations within the previous 3 years HAZMAT Copper Drivers must wear a half-face respirator for specific tasks, which also requires that you are clean-shaven daily. PPE is typically issued by our safety department and may include but is not limited to:• Hard hat with face shield• Goggles/Spoggles• Gloves• Long sleeve shirt• Reflective vest• Hearing protection• Respirator Mask (varies according to the work site)• Steel toe boots (not supplied by CTI)Respirators: CTI employees are required to wear a full and/or half-mask respirator for any job task that requires a respirator. Respirators (PPE) are distributed by CTI and are used to protect employees from those occupational hazards caused by breathing contaminated air (harmful dust, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors).
