Job Details Restaurateur and Chef John Fraser is now seeking a talented Maitre D for the opening of our newest addition to JF Restaurants this year. The 5,000 square foot restaurant will occupy the ground floor of 1740 Broadway within the EQ Office building in Midtown, New York City, and include a private tenant amenity space on the 2nd floor with café and event space. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS: Detail oriented, follows through and is able to multitask and prioritize needs while maintaining composure, focus and productivity Warm, friendly and an excellent communicator Able to work quickly and adapt on the go Passionate about providing guests with high-quality service Able to stand, walk, and/or sit for long periods of time and have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs Experienced in using POS systems, OpenTable, or other reservation management systems A TASTE OF THE ROLE: Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area Build the nightly seatings to create optimal guest experince Provide a friendly and caring experience for every guest that comes into the restaurant, upholding the restaurant's hospitality standards Anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations at all times Manage gues relationships WHY JOIN OUR TEAM?
