Position Type: Secretarial/Clerical/Secretary - AthleticsDate Posted: 12/16/2024Location: Lewis-Palmer Middle SchoolDate Available: ASAPLewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a front office clerical support person who will support the Athletic Director. Necessary skills include: organization and prioritization, ability to work under pressure, confidentiality, and flexibility to changes in schedules and priorities. Must be technology oriented and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Must have the ability to be flexible and to be part of a team. Must also have the desire to work in a middle school setting. Duties include, but are not limited to: Clerical services Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and greeting visitors Event coordination Scheduling appointments, maintaining an office calendar, and keeping staff informed about events Record keeping Filing athlete physical records, updating handbooks, rosters, and program forms, and verifying database information In addition, the front office clerical support person will track and handle building absences and daily substitutes to the school. This person will crosstrain to provide backup support in answering phones, dispensing medication to students, answering the doorbell and supervising students in the office. The starting hourly wage for this position is between $18.66 and $20.17 depending on previous experience. This is a full time position with full benefits. All employees are eligible for participation in the Colorado Public Employees Retirement Account, PERA.
