All individual pay rates are calculated based on the candidate's experience and internal equity. Overview of Role: Responsible for managing projects from the initial research or development stage through evaluation and/or hand-off to an operational business unit. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Performs a wide variety of professional, administrative, and analytical work. * Leads/manages organization-wide projects, as well interdepartmental and system-wide process improvement projects. * Plans and coordinates projects, including defining roles and responsibilities of each project team member, scope of work, project plans, timelines, cost/benefit analysis, budget, and any related risks involved. * Clarifies, documents, and communicates project objectives, exclusions, including detailed understanding of deliverables and success criteria. * Works with Executive Sponsor/Process Owner to on-board and orient project team. * Leads and manages teams that may include in-house staff as well as external stakeholders such as consultant and third-party vendor resources. * Assigns, schedules, reviews, and monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines and completed on-time and within budget. * Identifies, tracks, monitors, and communicates project related issues and barriers, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the implementation of the project(s); facilitates problem-solving within project team to overcome issues and barriers. * Identifies and manages project dependencies. * Compiles reports and analyzes data. * Develops communication plan, including project status reports for Executive Sponsor/Process Owner. * Leads/facilitates regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and key stakeholders to review activities, deliverables, risks, and mitigation strategies. * Completes research and organizes information into presentations, executive summaries, and action plans. * Helps create project budgets; effectively manages and reports on project budgets. * Defines and manages overall change management necessary to ensure success. * Maintains and updates project tracking software and reports. * Effectively interacts and communicates with other CFHW staff/clients/patients/partners/etc. * Meets defined individual and department goals, activity metrics and Key Performance Indicators * Provides education and training to staff on project management methodology. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: * Bachelors' Degree diploma or equivalent, Masters' Degree preferred. * At least one year of experience managing projects of medium to high complexity, business and data analysis, and process improvement methodologies. * Certification in project management preferred. * Previous experience working in the healthcare service sector and/or experience with the Baldrige Quality Improvement Program preferred. * Experience using Survey Software (ie Qualtrics) preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Experience in applying project management techniques and using standard project management tools and approaches to managing complex multi-disciplinary projects; this includes tools for issue/risk management, conflict resolution, status reporting, and communication. * Experience and demonstrated success in leadership, team management, and relationship building skills. * Strong analytic and problem-solving skills. * Ability to focus both strategically and tactically to achieve business goals. * Self-directed and able to work independently as well as in a team setting. * Ability to adapt to changing and challenging conditions. * Ability to influence and deliver results with a cross-functional team is required. * Strong time management and organization skills. * Ability to communicate complex ideas, both orally and in writing, with the ability to convey a positive and professional image. * Advanced computer skills including MS Project and other Office 365 products and the ability to learn new tools as needed.
