Royal Oak RoadSun City, AZ 85351 Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Senior Facilities Manager, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled troubleshooting, maintenance, modification and repair work in maintenance operation areas. Brief Overview of Major Duties (please see below for full job description): -Performs skilled maintenance activities depending upon area of assignment, including basic trade activities such as electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.-Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs complex systems and equipment in one or more areas of assignment such as lighting, electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems, and pool and filtration systems. -Coordinates projects related to installation, maintenance and repair work; may provide project lead direction to staff in technical areas of assignment.-Inspects contractor's work, ensuring that work is in compliance with specifications, standards and time lines.-Inspects Royal Oak facilities, grounds, infrastructure, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are being met; takes or recommends corrective actions as necessary.-Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures.-Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.-Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.-Required to operate/drive a golf cart for the purpose of transporting supplies around campus as needed. This may also include transporting employees, residents and/or guests when needed.-Required to be part of a rotation system for on-call duties and may receive a phone call to return to work if an emergency arises.-Must provide your own basic hand tools.-Perform other duties as assigned.
