Job Description Essential Responsibilities * Adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the department and institution as well as the rules and regulations of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and MAC Freedom, the NCAA, and other authorities that may legitimately influence the intercollegiate athletics program. * Greet all that enter the Schaefer Center from the lobby entrance desk.Acknowledge all students, staff, and faculty and ensure they check in through DSE to confirm waiver has been signed. * Greet visitors and determine their purpose for entering the facility. * Monitor all athletic facilities, including the Schaefer Center, Walker Gym, DeBaun Athletic Complex, and tennis courts, for safety and security by performing rounds on an hourly basis when on duty. * Complete a safety checklist for athletic facilities once per week as part of on duty responsibilities. * Ensure that the facilities are clean and in good working order. Contact the Facilities Office as needed for any repairs or other urgent maintenance needs. For non-urgent needs, contact the Assistant Director of Athletics for Campus Recreation. * Assist with intercollegiate athletic or campus recreation events as needed. * Complete all required departmental and institutional training and certification programs. * Opening and closing facilities at designated times. * Check in with on duty supervisor upon arrival. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: * Bachelor's degree required. Experience: * Prior experience in an athletics/campus recreation setting and work in facility management is preferred. Specific Skills: * Communicate effectively and professionally, including written, interpersonal, and public speaking. * Must be willing to work early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Specialized Licenses: * First Aid, CPR, and AED training certification required and can be attained upon employment.
