*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on both medical and surgical patients. This role requires strong clinical skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.*Responsibilities** Assess and monitor patients' health status, including vital signs and symptoms.* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.* Perform specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation.* Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions and documentation.* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients.* Stay current with best practices in trauma medicine and long-term care.* Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.*Patient population*: Adult-Geriatric*Dress code*: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)*EMR*: Epic*BLS required**Qualifications** Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.* Experience in long-term care or senior care settings is preferred.* Previous experience in ICU or trauma medicine is a plus.* Ability to provide compassionate care while managing multiple tasks efficiently.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.* Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in nursing practices.Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care.
