About this role as a Financial Coordinator Reporting to the Finance Manager, this position will perform various activities across the Finance team including Payroll and Accounts Payable. This is a full time day position with the hours of 8am-4:30pm What will you do as a Financial Coordinator Receive, review, and process incoming invoices, check requests, expense reports, etc. Distribute invoices for departmental approval. Review invoices in queue for accuracy prior to batching. Prepare AP Proposals for Finance Manager to review. Process ACH payments, print checks, and coordinate timely mailing of checks. Ensure that completed W-9's are obtained for all non-employee compensations. Monitor AP email daily. Periodically review AP procedures and develop/revise as appropriate. Support bi-weekly payroll process. Partner with Human Resources to help resolve payroll issues and answer questions. Process other financial compensations or deductions. (e.g., annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, Stipends) Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages. High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office especially Excel. Experienced with accounts payable systems. (Microsoft Great Plains/KwikTag a plus) 1-3 years of work experience in Accounts Payable/Payroll. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and correspondence in English. Ability to clearly present information effectively to varying levels of staff and management physicians, patients, administrative assistants, operations managers and supervisors and other support and professional staff.
