Job Description We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to develop innovative solutions using a modern technology stack to enhance and maintain APFM's core services. You will build React-based applications and backend solutions, utilizing the latest technologies. This position reports to the Director of Engineering, Core and Communities. As a key member of a dedicated engineering team, you will contribute your expertise to building modern, web-based applications that support and drive our business forward. Who you are: The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-oriented Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, specializing in improving operational efficiency and system reliability. They are forward-thinking, continuously learning, and eager to apply innovative solutions that enable future growth and scalability. A strong team player, they collaborate closely with peers across the engineering organization to ensure alignment between technical solutions and product development objectives. What you will do: Hands-on software developer with technical expertise in frontend web development, especially in JavaScript/Typescript, React.js, Node.js, HTML5 Partner with team peers in Product, Design, Scrum Masters and technology to innovate on current and future product offerings Create and maintain technical documentation Participating in meaningful and thorough code reviews Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of the application Collaborate with the team to ship new features rapidly Deliver mission-critical projects and platform capabilities end-to-end with high quality Build and grow your engineering skills in different challenging areas and solve hard technical problems Collaborate with team and peers in developing complex applications, peer review code, and suggest optimization Investigate and resolve any production issues from end user (UI) to service layer and work to prevent them Qualifications 5+ years of full stack development experience. Expert in front end development in React and Storybook You are a quick starter. You have a strong passion for new technologies and driving innovation. Delivery of high quality & production ready code is a high priority for you. You consider yourself as someone who is ready to look for innovative solutions. Learning technologies and expanding your skillset is always on your mind.
