Summary: As a Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Engineer, you will be a part of a larger NDE/metallurgical laboratory inspection team tasked with assuring the quality of mining and construction equipment and components. You will work in a hands-on NDE role supporting industrial fabrication production and processes. Your scope of responsibilities will include Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array UT, Radiography, Visual Testing of welds, and Magnetic Particle inspection methods. Typical task breakdown: Part identification. Material management. Print interpretation. Nondestructive evaluation. Documentation. Communication. Work with laboratory, internal quality engineers & external suppliers. Education & Experience Required: Associate of Applied Science in Nondestructive testing technology or equivalent certifications. Preferred candidates would have AWS CWI Certification Preferred candidates would include 3+ years of previous experience Technical Skills: UT - Ultrasonic Testing UTPA - Ultrasonic Testing Phased Array RT - Radiography Testing VT - Visual Testing/Inspection of welds MT - Magnetic Particle Testing/Inspection Soft Skills: Decision Making & Critical Thinking Effective Communication Microsoft Office Compensation: The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
