The company is committed to supporting your success with the latest technology and resources, ensuring you have everything needed to excel in providing top-tier agronomic solutions to clients.Sales Agronomist Responsibilities: Spend approximately 70% of time in the office handling calls & 30% in the field with growersDevelop & sustain strong relationships with current & prospective clientsLead sales presentations, product demonstrations, & offer expert agronomic guidance, including crop planning recommendationsApply knowledge of crop protection products and crop nutrients to support client needsCreate crop input plans for farmers, make farm visits, and engage directly with customersMake sales calls to both existing & potential customers to generate ordersProvide knowledgeable agronomic advice & tailored solutions to clientsStay up-to-date on industry trends, market dynamics, & competitor activitiesPrepare sales reports & forecasts to meet company objectivesSales Agronomist Qualifications:Valid driver's license & willingness to travel within territoryBachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Crop Science, or related field2-3 years' experience in sales within ag industryStrong knowledge of agronomic practices, crop production, & ag technologiesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required & ability to learn/use Ag softwareExcellent communication & interpersonal skillsCDL A is a plus!We kindly request that all applicants respect the confidentiality of this posting and refrain from attempting to deduce or disclose the associated company.
