The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and external professional service providers on a range of issues, including tax, asset allocation, legal, and personal matters. This role is ideal for a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude, who is highly organized and able to balance competing priorities. The Head of Reporting will be responsible for developing and running the family office's strategic investment and operational plan, as well as managing a junior accountant and future accounting professionals. Key responsibilities include coordinating the preparation of financial statements, supervising the accounts payable function, and overseeing significant ad-hoc projects. The role also involves recordkeeping and administration of individual client assets, preparing cash flows and projections, and coordinating with outside CPA firms on tax matters. The ideal candidate for the Head of Reporting position at the company will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 12 years' of experience in accounting or a related area within financial services, and a strong academic record. Excellent communication skills, strong technology skills, and a CPA license are a plus. The candidate should have a strong interest in business operations, finance, and investing, and a quantitative background. Experience in real estate, tax, or investment activities, as well as experience supervising bookkeepers and accountants, is also desirable.
