The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in contemporary business model clubs or similar hospitality operations. Responsibilities include overseeing all day-to-day operations, directing and administering all aspects of the club's amenities, staff, and programs to ensure the highest levels of quality and member satisfaction. The GM/COO will be a courageous thought partner for the Board, with a keen understanding of current and future trends, and will be responsible for the club's financial management, including the preparation and management of annual operating and multi-year capital budgets. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years' progressive leadership experience, strong management skills, and a passion for food and beverage operations. They must be a servant leader, committed to maintaining a visible and interactive management style, and be adept at fostering positive relationships with members, staff, and the Board. The role requires a charismatic individual with a personality that aligns with the club's friendly and supportive culture, and a focus on continuous enhancement of the member experience. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management is highly desirable, and industry certifications such as CCM, CCE, CMC, or PGA are preferred. The GM/COO will also be involved in the club's major renovation projects and must be a strategic planner with a strong background in project management.
