Maintenance Manager What You Will DoDrive the implementation and continuous improvement of maintenance activities to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.Plan, coordinate, and oversee Maintenance department personnel and systems to achieve production goals.Foster a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement while maintaining strong working relationships across departments, including engineering, finance, HR, logistics, quality, purchasing, and sales.Ensure compliance with plant policies, health and safety rules, and any applicable labor agreements.Coordinate skilled trades resources to ensure the facility's equipment and systems remain operational, including preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs.Evaluate and address problematic systems or facilities, including initiating external repair services as needed.Track and analyze downtime occurrences and corrective actions, working to minimize disruptions to production.Manage labor and MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) costs, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Develop measurable data to track department performance and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Assign tasks, schedule repairs, and oversee maintenance activities to completion while minimizing overtime and production stoppages.Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance, foster autonomy, and promote cross-training opportunities.Develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for all facilities, tools, and equipment.What You Will NeedManufacturing launch, maintenance &/or engineering experience a plus.3-5 years of experience in manufacturing operations (preferably in automotive)Bachelor's degree strongly preferredExperience supervising skilled trades & salary employees.Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen and knowledge in the areas of Maintenance, and quality.Proven experience in maintenance operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.Knowledge of safety regulations, preventive maintenance strategies, and equipment repair processes.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain effective communication across shifts.Analytical skills to develop and track performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement.Experience with collective bargaining agreements and labor relations management is preferred.Familiarity with budget management and cost control in maintenance operations.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate and address complex maintenance challenges.Commitment to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing work culture.Flexibility to adapt to changing production needs and willingness to coordinate resources for continuous operations.If you are ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to a dynamic team focused on innovation and reliability, we encourage you to apply today!
