This role reports to the Security Manager and performs administrative duties and responsibilities with an emphasis on Personnel Security. Qualified candidates should be well versed in administrative skills to include Microsoft office suite.Core Responsibilities:Engage in the day-to-day Personnel Security (PERSEC) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure 100% compliance within the scope of the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industry Security Program (NISPOM)Assist with developing and conducting industrial security training in line with the NISPOMAssist with annual security awareness/refresher briefings to employeesConduct new hire security onboarding briefingsProcess and maintain VARs for incoming visits and outgoing visitsPOC for all Security clearance inquiries from employeesProcess and maintain employee Foreign Travel (FT) records in DISS and coordinate FT paperwork with CPSO as necessaryResponsible for clearance investigations via eAPP, DISS, and NBIS databases: initiate appropriate investigation for personnel (to include initial, upgrades, and periodic updates) and review SF-86 paperwork for accuracy and submission to governmentAssist with maintaining appropriate facility security databases, including but not limited to eAPP, SWFT, NISS, DISS, NBIS, and SIMSParticipate in rotation of on-call dutiesConduct random bag checks within the facilityParticipate as needed in special department projectsOther duties as requiredRequirements:US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security ClearanceExperience providing professional administrative/security support in U.S. Government or corporate office environmentDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive informationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS OfficeMay require light physical effort, involving standing, sitting, and use of hands while performing duties, carrying or lifting up to 50 poundsWorking environment is indoor, moderately quiet, reasonably clean, well-lighted and well-ventilated, moderate physical hazards may existPreferred QualificationsAt least one year of hands on FSO or Industrial Security experienceSecret Security clearance with ability to upgradeFSO Program Management CurriculumSARA offers a competitive benefits package to include:Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; and other supplemental programsA generous PTO program (vacation, sick, holiday)Tuition & certification reimbursementFlexible work schedulesDiscretionary Employee bonuses401(k) match/profit sharingEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Pay RangeSalary at SARA is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $21.50 to $26.50 (hourly USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SARA's total compensation package for employees.
