Job Description

Based in Philadelphia and reporting to the Vice President of Real Estate, the Real Estate Manager will be accountable for executing the company's real estate growth strategy and supporting the real estate needs of operating bakeries. This role will assist in vetting real estate strategies, travelling to and evaluating target markets and specific opportunities, negotiating LOI's, supporting lease negotiations and supporting all refresh/lease renewal efforts for locations within the portfolio of bakeries. This role must sit remotely on the West Coast with close proximity to an airport.Sweet Position Perks• 4 day work week!! (yupp, we get every Friday off)• A competitive base salary plus annual bonus compensation package• Excellent comprehensive benefits coverage that includes medical, dental, vision, prescription plans and pet insurance• 401K with contribution match• Paid vacation plus 2 Insomnia Cookies personal wellness daysJob Responsibilities:Work with the real estate team, real estate partners and network of local brokers to deliver on-brand expansion opportunitiesSearch for and uncover real estate opportunities through industry leading platformsExecute market analysis for real estate opportunities and deliver economically acceptable terms and conditions with a focus on ROIParticipate in real estate committee meetings by preparing and presenting specific material including site proposals, site assessments, market assessments and proformas.Support lease negotiations, refresh/lease renewal efforts with cross-functional team leadersManaging and building relationships with landlords and brokers across the countryBeing a champion of the brand that fits and promotes the brand and culture to the industryDesired Skills & Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate (QSR with delivery preferred) and/or multi-unit retail industry; bachelor's degree requiredA strong understanding of relevant site analytic and sales forecasting tools to identify profitable locationsExperience working with a large real estate portfolio and pipelineAn expansive national network of brokers and landlordsA strong track record of business partnering with C-suite/senior level executivesOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organizationAn ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadsThrives in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, and lean environmentAbility to work independentlyDriven, creative problem solver that consistently acts with integrity, speaks up, and assumes best intentionsAn owner's mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitudeStrong analytical and organizational skillsSolid negotiation skills with a high capacity for managing complexityOutstanding strategic planning and project management capabilities demonstrated in complex, fast-paced, and competitive environmentsA hands-on, tech-savvy, and data-driven approachAbility to travel as needed and spend time in the field
