The Blackburn Group is looking for an Assistant Superintendent for our Multifamily construction company, Blackburn Construction, Inc. We are a family-owned real estate company based in Oxford, MS with offices in Arvada, Colorado. We have a diverse portfolio of businesses throughout the Southern United States with a focus in residential and commercial real estate development. The Blackburn Group operates a Multifamily development and construction company, commercial general construction company, investment companies, and multiple fitness centers.As a Superintendent, you will assist with all aspects of construction from ground up through completion. This is including but not limited to directing subcontractors, ensuring timelines, quality control, ensuring regulatory and safety standards are met. While officers are in Arvada, CO, the site is located in Broomfield, CO.Key Responsibilities:Must have the ability to read and comprehend blueprints and shop drawingsPlan, schedule and coordinate focused components of the work as assigned by the Lead SuperintendentRun MEP inspectionsCapable of scheduling and coordinating work for QA/QC issues in all units and common areasWorks with onsite staff of Superintendents as a teamAssists with coordination of Subcontractors workResponsible for quality control of tradesEnsures construction quality methods are maintained and followedVerifies that Certificate of Occupancies are received and loggedInterface with governing officials to inspect and approve workAssists in enforcing onsite safety programsAssist with reviewing and enforcing SWPPP policies and procedures are followedCreate and complete work punch listMonitor and ensure buyer changes are incorporated into buildingRequired Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years' experience specifically in the Multifamily IndustryMultifamily - 3 story Garden, 4 and 5 story higher density, wood frame multifamily construction experience preferredPodium experienced desiredFast track construction experienceProven ability to generate results in a fast-paced environmentPrevious exposure to successful project completion, within specs, time allotment, and budgetGeneral knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systemsMicrosoft Office Software knowledgeMicrosoft Project SoftwareDetail orientated/well organizedExcellent writing and communication skillsProcore experience preferred
