Job SummaryWe are seeking a polished, highly diligent and detail oriented Director of Catering to join our opening team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the charge in overseeing the catering functions for this busys corporate dining account, Our Catering Director will lead a passionate team, build impactful client relations, and ensure the catering offered to our guests is of outstanding quality. If you are a passionate catering professional with years of delivering high quality catered events to your clients, we look forward to meeting you! Key Responsibilities:Coordinates and oversees all on site executive catering eventsDevelops and maintains the catering marketing plan including a comprehensive event planning service to clients and detailed menu developmentHires, trains, and schedules catering staff, and will be actively involved in the development of existing catering staff in-service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and proceduresEnsures successful operations of catering functions including labor cost control, foods cost control and preparation, transportation, setup, operation, and cleanup of all events Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree - Hospitality or Culinary Arts a plus!Proven experience in the hospitality industry (full service hotels fine dining event space & restaurants) including 2 years in catering management is requiredDemonstrated success leading an engaged and focused catering team; must be a committed and articulate communicator who fosters a strong relationship with their eam AND the clientBooking, selecting and costing menu items, pricing contracts, and resourcing temporary help and equipment experience is keyThe ability to supervise food preparation, service, and cleanup is also essentialApply to Eurest today!Eurest is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass Story Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
