Be part of an extraordinary life!Rose Senior Living - Farmington Hills is recruiting for a hospitality focused Business Office & Accounting Specialist to join our team!This position starts at 20+ hours per week, with the expectation to grow into a full-time role within 4-10 months. The ideal candidate would be available to work Mondays, and management is flexible with scheduling the remaining days and hours.Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Business Office & Accounting Specialist: Assists with preparation and monitors all monthly billing and collection processes utilizing established policies, procedures and tracking systems. Assists with processing of invoices on a weekly basis. Assists with posting of rent checks. Interfaces with residents on billingcollection issues. Assists with benefits, payroll, and credit card reconciliation. Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information. Collaborates with multiple departments to support assigned projects, contributing to efficient operations and cross-functional success.Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: High school diploma or general education degree required. Associates degree preferred. Yardi experience preferred. Must demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills. One to three years related experience andor training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products. Consistently work cooperatively with residents, co-workers, physicians, families, consultant personnel and other ancillary service providers.
