Working on behalf of our client, based in Crewe we are currently recruiting for a Electrical Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. Key Duties: Project Management Plan, execute, and oversee electrical contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Estimating & Design Assist in the design and costing of electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Scheduling & Coordination Develop project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and ensure deadlines are met. Budget & Cost Control Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and subcontractors. Compliance & Safety Ensure all work meets UK regulations, including BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and Health & Safety standards. Quality Assurance Monitor work quality, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure installations meet regulatory and company standards. Team Leadership Supervise and manage electricians, subcontractors, and project teams, providing guidance and training where required. Client Liaison Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any project concerns. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records, contracts, and reports, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely manner. What we are looking for in the successful candidate: ECS/JIB Gold Card NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent SMSTS or SSSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme preferred) Experience in project management within the electrical industry Strong understanding of electrical installation regulations and health 'safety standards Proven ability to manage multiple electrical projects from start to completion What our client can offer in return: Negotiable Salary DOE Company car Career development and training opportunities
