Engine Test Technician Location: Stafford Key Responsibilities: Build and test engines to meet customer requirements. Prepare engines for testing, including pre-rigging and instrumentation setup. Conduct data measurement, collection, and analysis using test bed controls. Ensure the quality of test bed data and support engineers with testing methods and results. Qualifications: Education: City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in automotive mechanics or equivalent. Experience: 3 years with diesel/gas engine test programs. Mechanical/electrical experience in engines. Familiarity with engine test systems and ECU controller software. Hands-on experience with instrumentation. Basic knowledge of low voltage electrical systems. Skills Required: Ability to follow engineers instructions for tests and provide quality data. Strong attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused, motivated, and able to work independently.
