Varnom Ross is working with a forward-thinking London borough seeking a motivated EHO to join their Private Sector Housing team on an initial 6-month contract. The Role You'll be responsible for carrying out a range of duties including: HHSRS inspectionsof privately rented propertiesHMO Licensinginspections and compliance checksEnforcing housing legislation and initiating formal action where necessaryResponding to service requests and complaints from tenants and landlordsLiaising with landlords, agents, and internal departments to ensure safe and habitable housingRequirements Degree or diploma in Environmental HealthEHORB registration or CIEH-accreditedDemonstrable experience in private sector housing, particularly HHSRS and HMO licensingA strong working knowledge of the Housing Act 2004 and related legislationAbility to work autonomously and manage a varied caseloadWhy Apply?
