Job Title:Business Development ManagerRemote (UK)ITSM Industry Location:Remote (UK-Based) Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 Basic Salary (DOE) + Uncapped Commission Job Type:PermanentJob Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-drivenBusiness Development Managerto join our expanding sales team. Thisremote role(UK-based) will focus on developingnew business opportunitiesand nurturingexisting client relationshipsin theIT Service Management (ITSM)andManaged Servicessectors. As a key part of our sales team, you will be responsible for generatingsales leads , building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for business growth. In thisremote business development role , youll serve as the main point of contact for clients, assisting them in achieving their business goals through our cutting-edgeenterprise software solutions . You will utilise your exceptional sales skills to identify gaps, eliminate competitor threats, and drive growth opportunities across theITSM market .Key Responsibilities: Developsales strategiesand drive newbusiness opportunitiesin theITSMandManaged Servicessectors. Conductprospecting activitiesincludingcold calling , networking, and attending industry events. Generate and qualify leadsby identifying prospects and converting them into clients. Accurately forecastmonthly and quarterly salesand meet sales quotas consistently. Build and maintain a detailedsales pipeline , track client interactions, and ensure regularclient follow-ups . Deliver engagingsales presentations , product demos, and proposals to prospective clients. Collaborate with clients to understand theirbusiness needsand recommend tailored software solutions. Up-sell and cross-sellproducts/services toexisting clients , ensuring they are leveraging all relevant solutions. Support clients through thesales lifecycle , ensuring a smooth transition from sales toProfessional Services . Maintain a database ofprospects ,clients ,partners , andvendorsusing CRM software. Work with internal teams to provide accurate reporting,sales forecasts , and industry analysis. Manage and close salesopportunitieswithdecision-makersacross various industries. Conductproduct demonstrationsandclient trainingsessions to ensure satisfaction and solution adoption.Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience inB2B sales , particularly in theIT Service Management (ITSM) ,Managed Services , orEnterprise Softwareindustries. Strong understanding ofsales processes ,sales funnels , andcustomer relationship management (CRM)platforms. Ability to develop and execute effectivesales strategiesand consistently meet sales targets. Excellentcommunication ,presentation , andnegotiation skills . Strong track record of buildingclient relationshipsand successfullyclosing sales . Proficient inprospectingandlead generation , with a focus on targetingkey decision-makers . Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and offer tailored solutions. Ability to travelup to 50% , withsite visitsrequired 2-3 days per week. A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach to business development.Education and Experience: Minimum of3 years of sales experiencein theenterprise softwareorITSMspace. Experience with complex sales cyclesand large enterprise accounts is highly desirable.
