A leading logistics and freight forwarding organisation, offering sea, air, and road freight forwarding as well as providing Worldwide supply chain logistics solutions for clients of all sizes, is looking to recruit an Air Export Team Leader to join their team within their offices, in the London, Heathrow area.On Offer:Competitive salary, up to £45K, dependent on skills and experience along with some great benefits.The opportunity to be part of a widely expanding Freight Forwarding company which has seen unprecedented growth in recent yearsSupportive and professional work environmentTraining and ongoing professional developmentOpportunity to work at one of the world’s busiest airportsMain Purpose Of The Role:This is a key role in the efficient and compliant handling of all air export operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while mentoring junior staff and supporting the operational team.Duties and Responsibilities Of The Air Export Team Leader:Coordinate and manage end-to-end air export shipmentsLiaise with airlines, handling agents, and overseas officesPrepare and process export documentation (AWBs, customs entries, etc.)Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standardsMonitor and manage shipment schedules, resolving issues proactivelyProvide exceptional customer service and timely updatesSupport and mentor junior team membersContribute to process improvements and team developmentAssist in training and developing staff in preparation for a Team Leader roleTo Be Considered:Proven supervising or mentoring experience within air export operationsMinimum 3 years’ experience in air freight export operationsStrong knowledge of air export procedures, documentation, and regulationsFamiliarity with customs systems and export control requirementsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesProactive, reliable, and solution-orientedRight to work in the UKFor full details, please contact Willis Global - a leading Recruitment Consultancy for the Supply Chain & Logistics industry
